A Thankful Heart

Do you tend to be a complainer?  Do you complain to (or about) God, your spouse, your kids, your parents, your neighbors, your work or your church?  Trust me, you are not alone!  How can we empty our hearts of complaint and refill them with thanksgiving?  This was the challenge issued at last Thursday’s Band of Brother’s meeting:

Prepare for thanksgiving by taking the time to consider and list all you have to be thankful for.  If you need help getting started, see the list below.  After you’ve made a list, share it with those you wrote about…it may have been a long time since they heard a simple “thank you”!

  • I’m thankful for God (Psalm 100).
  • I’m thankful for my spouse (Proverbs 18:22).
  • I’m thankful for kids (Psalm 127:3-5).
  • I’m thankful for friends (Proverbs 27:6).
  • I’m thankful for work (Daniel 6:10).

It's very calm over here, why not leave a comment?
