Life Group Survey (part 3)

This is post #3 in a 3-part post regarding our recent Life Group member survey.  If you haven’t already read the first and second posts, I would recommend reading them first and second

This post will just include some of the amazing comments that people made as a part of filing out the survey.  I hope you enjoy them as much as I have!

  • It is a safe place to ask questions and talk about the things that we all go through as parents, couples, and children of God.
  • I love the connection with friends, open and inviting atmosphere, place to feel welcome.
  • I appreciate the authenticity of the group participants.

  • Our Life Group is less concerned about staying on schedule with a study and more interested in what everyone has to say or is feeling at the moment.
  • I feel like this is my family. They are the ones who really know what is going on with me and really care.
  • We have adapted as friends have moved on, taken new people into the group and continued on as a Life Group. We have people at different stages of life, etc.
  • We really love one another, it’s like an extended family.
  • We are a large group, but everyone genuinely cares for and prays for everyone else. I wasn’t expecting so many people to be so open and relatable with each other. We’re all going through the same ups and downs and we can rely on each other and our faith to get through them.
  • We’re honest, I feel like the people really commit and pray for each other. I feel like it makes me a better person. I know we all wholeheartedly care about one another.
  • We are a mix of different backgrounds and are in different stages in our walk and in our faith in Jesus and that’s ok.
  • I think the members of our Life Group are grounded in the bible and do not sugar coat the content of the bible which happens far too often in other places.
  • [Our Life Group leader] meets us where we are–yet challenges us spiritually.
  • [Our Life Group leaders] really care about us and our families. They are very concerned with us and value our opinions.
  • Our life group has brought my husband and I “spiritually” closer. The examples of other couples have encouraged us and just to be with Christians outside of a church setting spoke volumes to my husband and I. At first, we were a little apprehensive to be a part of a small group…sharing our lives with others–but it has proven to be a blessing beyond measure. I thank God, Grace Point and our leaders and especially our friends in our group.
  • I have attended two different life groups at Grace Point. Both were great. If these two leaders had not been firmly grounded in the word of God, I would not have been able to grow as a Christian and likely would not have remained at Grace Point.
