RATT. Poison. Motley Crue. KISS. Cinderella. Scorpions. Van Halen. Def Leppard.
This is the kind of music I chewed on as a teenager. It’s scary, but I think every single one of these bands is back in action today!
Though my tastes have broadened quite a bit (!) since then, as a 41-year-old, I have to admit I still love the Heavy Metal genre. The band Skillet makes me feel better about indulging in heavy-duty, head-banging music every once in a while. The funning thing? Our new Children’s Pastor Steve Ogle introduced me to Skillet.
You may not enjoy the music, but I think you’ll find the lyrics compelling…enjoy (if you can)!

yes Tom, and although I never ‘got into’ the heavy metal scene…Steve has even gotten me to like Skillet! The group that Ryan had here for the youth event (Salient) in October is also very good and a kin to Skillet’s genre.
