We spent our time at our Band of Brothers meeting this morning in prayer. To get us started, we spent some time praying over the names and attributes of God. We tried to worship and praise Him not for what He has done for us, but simply for who He is.
It was a GREAT way to start the day.
It reminded me of one of the resources we have on our discipleship wall at church call “Praying the Names of God”. It is a great resource for thinking about and praying over some of the most powerful names and qualities of God.
I’ve uploaded it here in case any of you might like to see a copy. This would be a good resource for your quiet times or as a worship component in your Life Group.
I have started using the attributes of God as my computer passwords. Every time I log in to something it reminds me to refocus on Him.
