I can hardly believe it, but I’ve had this blog up-and-running for a year. I have almost stopped several times. It is time-consuming and I don’t really have any way to know if it is helpful to people…and I don’t have a lot of extra time. I’ve kept going for two reasons:
- It has been a good discipline for me; and
- There are some people that read the posts…I think!
For this week, my only post will be the top five posts from the first year, starting with the most popular. I’m not sure why these were the top hits, but here they are for you again…hope you enjoy them the second time around!
- Thirsty? – Life on this earth will always include disappointment, disease, poverty, jealously, hatred and wars. But in the midst of all of that, Jesus offers peace…His peace.
- Forgive AND (choose to) Forget – Are we supposed to forgive AND forget? Can we truly say we have forgiven if we have not yet forgotten?
- Spiritually Mature – As you run the Christian race, what is the finish line you are running toward? How do you know you are growing more mature in your faith?
- At a loss for words – With so much happening to the people around me, I found myself almost at a loss for how to pray for them.
- Tears in a Bottle – When is the last time you literally cried out to God?

Tom,
I appreciate your posts. Kelly and I both used the prayer guide from a few weeks back and found it helpful. Thanks for feeding us all.

Please don’t stop. I look forward to reading your blog. Like others, I guess I should comment more often so that you know your blog is being read. Your blog is a great way for me to start my day. Thank you!

I’m glad you’ve kept up your blog! I read it and should probably comment more often so you know you have readers!
It is always thought provoking, encouraging, and just a good reminder to me daily about God.
