On that day…

image The day is coming!

The day is coming when our money will not matter.  The day is coming when the government will not matter.  The day is coming when rock stars, athletes and movie stars will no longer be idols.  The day is coming when our relationships will be pure and our tears will dry up.  The day is coming when there will be no more worship of Buddha or Allah.  The day is coming when we will truly worship God with all that we have and all that we do.

And the Lord will be king over all the earth. On that day there will be one Lord—his name alone will be worshiped. Zechariah 14:9 (NLT)

The day is coming, and on that day He will rejoice over His children and we will rejoice in Him!  We will praise His Holy name and experience the fullness of Him!  We will be filled with unimaginable joy and be free of pain!  He will rule over all there is and every single knee will bow to Him.

The day is coming!  It is drawing near!  Thank You Father!  Help me to live today as if it were that day, with great expectation and urgency!  Help me to be prepared for that day!

    Reminds me of the great Hymnal (What A Day That Will Be)

    There is coming a day when no heartaches shall come
    No more clouds in the sky, no more tears to dim the eye.
    All is peace forevermore on that happy golden shore,
    What a day, glorious day that will be.

    Chorus
    What a day that will be when my Jesus I shall see,
    And I look upon His face,
    The One who saved me by His grace;
    When He takes me by the hand
    And leads me through the Promised Land,
    What a day, glorious day that will be.

    There’ll be no sorrow there, no more burdens to bear,
    No more sickness, no pain, no more parting over there;
    And forever I will be with the One who died for me,
    What a day, glorious day that will be.

    Tom,
    Thank you for taking the time to do this every day. Do not know if I have told you how much I enjoy it.

      Thank you for the thank you. I sometimes wonder if I should keep doing it. But every time I think I should stop, someone encourages me to keep it going. Guess I’m on the hook for while longer!
